My Break and Timeline
I thought it might be helpful if I wrote down milestones in case anyone is interested in how slowly a TPF progresses.

May 21, 2010 Broke leg (Type III displaced 4mm TPF)
May 27, 2010 Surgery ORIF, One plate, five screws
May 30, 2010 Released from hospital
June 10, 2010 Stitches removed
June 24, 2010 Xrays done
June 28, 2010 ROM 123 degrees
June 28, 2010 First PT
July 8, 2010 ROM 132 degrees
July 8, 2010 Weight bearing as tolerated (six weeks)
July 8, 2010 Second PT (135 degrees ROM)
July 15, 2010 Third PT (132 degrees ROM)
July 28, 2010 Fourth PT (140 degrees ROM)
July 28, 2010 Full weight bearing (nine weeks)
August 2, 2010 Return to work ¾ time
August 5, 2010 Fifth PT
August 19, 2010 Worked full time
August 20, 2010 Sixth PT
September 13, 2010 Seventh PT Released by PT
September 13, 2010 X-rays and OS Visit
September 23, 2010 Slept w/no painkillers
October 19, 2010 First time around figure 8 (.75 miles)
November 1, 2010 Handicapped placard expired
November 10, 2010 20 minutes on recumbent bike
November 20, 2010 Walked 1.5 miles at one time
December 3, 2010 Walked 2.0 miles at one time
December 24, 2010 Walked 2.25 miles today
2011
April 1, 2011 Walked 2.80 miles today
April 4, 2011 Walked to and from work (5 miles)
October 18, 2011 Hardware removal
October 26, 2011 Stitch removal and follow up visit
